The aim of writing a proposal is to persuade the reader to adopt a course of action about a product, service or idea. You try to convince your readers to follow your ideas if no the situation will not improve.
Firstly, it is important to organize your proposal, write down some key notes will help you. In addition, it is crucial to develop each paragraph in the same way, no write a short paragraph since you don t know what to talk about, also use examples to support your arguments.
Here, I leave the two proposals that I did, one talking about how school should be managed in the pandemic of Covid-19, and the other about how to improve a school canteen.
Proposal 1:
This proposal is going to be about why face to face classes are more beneficial for students than virtual classes during the pandemic of coronavirus. To support this argument I will take into consideration technology, exchanges and exams.
Technology:
Firstly, one of the biggest problems in online classes is the connection to Wi-Fi, which tends to fail. This makes learning difficult and slower since many times the connection can be lost in the middle of an important explanation. In addition, buying a computer, a cell phone or a tablet can be really expensive and many families could not afford this.
Exchanges:
In addition, children at home tend to become more distracted by the things that surround them such as cellular phone, television and computer. For this reason face to face classes are more entertaining since students are more concentrated and tend to participate more making questions or exchanging ideas.
Exams:
Thirdly, online exams are not the same as presencial ones since it is much easier for students to cheat. The best way to avoid that this happens is that teachers make oral exams, nevertheless this can be impossible when the class is numerous, and it could take many hours to evaluate every student.
To conclude, there is a higher probability of contagious coronavirus in face to face classes. However, the advance of medicine in the vaccine and the use of masks and alcohol gel, protect us against the virus.
Proposal 2:
The purpose of this proposal is to improve the canteen of the school so that more students want to eat there. For this, I will analyze the recommendations of students and choose the best one. I will take into consideration the recommendations of bigger food variety, cleaning and nicer decor.
Bigger food variety:
First of all, including a bigger food variety will increase sales since vegetarian or celiac students will have more options to choose. In addition, students nowadays prefer healthier food so a good option is to add a healthy menu, I am sure that students that make sports will love this.
Cleaning:
Secondly, nobody likes to eat in a dirty place and less to eat food in bad conditions. Last year, a student from fifth grade ate an expired yogurt from the school canteen and had a stomach ache for a week. To avoid this happen again improvements in cleaning and changing the personnel of the canteen is necessary.
Nicer Decor:
Thirdly, there are some studies that prove that decoration makes food tastier so improving the aspect of the canteen will also improve the sales. Painting the dark walls of the canteen to a brightness colour is going to make it a more comfortable place for students.
To conclude, any of the three options will improve the canteen. However, the best one is improving cleaning, since the reputation of the canteen is not the same after what happened to the boy in fift
